PHOENX
PhoenX is the street educational theatre writing/performing face of Phoenix Functions.
Currently the team is Owen Allen, June Perkins, and Liz Hurley, a fine young local actor.
We are working on a street theatre genre we are calling Out of the Box Theatre. Our first piece is on 'Risk'. Hopefully we will be at rehearsal stage by the end of September 2010 and will be looking for an additional couple of actors.
We will be offering educational theatre design workshops with the finished product. The first of these will be conducted at the Tablelands Folk Festival, Yungaburra, North Queensland, Australia
Phoenix Functions would like to hold a list of actors, writers, poets, graphic artists, movie makers, singers, dancers, who might be interested in developing projects for the Far North Queensland Regional community.
From this list, potential artists can be contacted for their interest in working on projects.
